Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

  • The Social Vilâge: The event and lifestyle brand operated by The Social Vilâge, registered in The Netherlands.

  • Event: Any gathering, experience, activation, or retreat hosted or curated by The Social Vilâge.

  • Participant: Any person attending an Event, including those who purchase or receive a ticket.

  • Agreement: The contract formed upon ticket purchase or registration.

2. Ticket Purchase & Access

  • All ticket sales are final and non-refundable under any circumstances, including illness, personal emergencies, or scheduling conflicts.

  • Tickets are non-transferable unless approved in writing by The Social Vilâge.

  • Entry may be refused to any participant who cannot provide valid proof of purchase or ID.

3. No Refund Policy

  • The Social Vilâge maintains a strict no-refund policy. Refunds will not be issued for:

    • No-shows

    • Late arrivals

    • Event dissatisfaction

    • Weather-related issues

    • Force majeure events (see Section 9)

  • By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and accept this policy in full.

4. Changes to Events

  • We reserve the right to change the date, venue, program, format, or guest list at our discretion.

  • If rescheduled, your ticket will automatically apply to the new date. Refunds will not be issued.

5. Behavior & Community Standards

  • The Social Vilâge fosters emotionally safe, joyful environments. We reserve the right to:

    • Deny entry or remove any participant whose behavior disrupts the experience;

    • Remove participants who harass, threaten, or make others feel unsafe;

    • Ban future attendance in case of misconduct, with no refund.

  • By attending, you agree to conduct yourself with respect for fellow guests, staff, and the space.

6. Media Release & Content Use

By attending any Event, you grant The Social Vilâge the unrestricted, perpetual, royalty-free right to capture and use photographs, video, and audio in which you may appear. This includes (but is not limited to) marketing, press, social media, and promotional use across all platforms.

There is no option to opt out. Attendance constitutes full agreement to be filmed, photographed, or recorded as part of the event experience.

7. Health, Safety & Dietary Disclaimers

  • Attendance is at your own risk. Events may involve physical movement, food/beverage intake, or environmental exposure.

  • The Social Vilâge is not liable for:

    • Allergic reactions

    • Injuries

    • Medical conditions

  • It is your responsibility to inform us of any serious allergies in advance, though we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Social Vilâge and its partners, collaborators, or venues will not be held responsible for:

  • Personal injury, illness, or property loss

  • Theft, damage, or loss of personal belongings

  • Dissatisfaction with event experience

  • Transport issues to or from the venue

  • Acts or omissions of third parties

Our total liability is strictly limited to the value of your ticket.

9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for cancellation or disruption due to events beyond our control, including:

  • Natural disasters

  • Pandemics

  • Strikes

  • Government restrictions

  • Travel bans

  • Venue closures

In such cases, no refunds will be issued.

10. Intellectual Property

All event concepts, branding, written materials, workshop formats, and content are the intellectual property of The Social Vilâge. They may not be copied, recorded, distributed, or reused without written permission.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of The Netherlands.
All disputes will be settled exclusively in the courts of Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

12. Final Notes

  • These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time without prior notice.

  • Continued participation in future events constitutes acceptance of any updates.

  • If any section is deemed unenforceable, the rest of the agreement remains valid.
